A New Dark Lord?

Azkaban? A String of Breakouts? Convicted Death Eaters? If you haven’t heard – and you probably haven’t – there has recently been a string of breakouts from Azkaban. And the ones who have broken out are convicted Death Eaters. Although He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named has gone, the fact that not one, but many ex-Death Eaters have broken out of Azkaban, leads many to believe that they are all running to the same place – to a new Dark Lord.

The Ministry of Magic has done as much as it can to cover up these breakouts, but the truth has come to fruition in a candid interview with the Ministress of Magic herself – Miss Maria Silversmith.

In addtion to the breakouts, there has also been a flux of activity in the old deserted town of Godric’s Hollow – where Lily and James Potter met their ends.

These coincidences have been very fishy, but that could all change.

It is possible that this new Dark Lord wants himself known and strike fear into the hearts of all.

We got many letters like this first one. Then early this morning before the deadline, a letter from someone inside the Ministry was sent. His/Her name was disclosed to keep them private and out of trouble.

Dear Prophet,
I am outraged that the Ministry is not releasing any information about the recent attacks in south England. Shouldn’t we be informed about what’s going on and what we should do to protect ourselves?

Dear Annabelle,
We are with you on this subject. We think that the Ministry should try to keep the public aware of these happenings because if they do, the public will be more prepared. Thank you for your letter.

Dear Prophet,
I work within the Ministry and felt that I should inform of the Ministry’s choice to withhold the information about the recent attacks. Their thoughts are of the following.

It is unsure if this really is a terror attack from a new uprising evil. I know this sounds familiar from when the Ministry ignored Voldemort’s return, but this time we are only taking precautions and trying to not jump to conclusions before the necessary actions are taken. The Ministry has every department possible trying to confirm and gather information about this attack and other attacks in surrounding countries in the past month. So please, all we are asking for is some patience and as soon as we can, we will inform you of the latest.

Who Will Save Us Now?

Will our magical world ever be evil free? What is it with people trying to take it over and kill innocent people?

First it was Grindelwald. It is speculated that he was Adolf Hitler, a German who tried to take over the muggle world and ordered mass killings of Jewish people in Europe. If these two were the same people, it would be no surprise to this writer. They had much in common. For instance, instead of Jewish people, Grindelwald went after muggles. The downfall of Grindelwald happened in 1945 (the same year Hitler was as well) when Albus Dumbledore defeated him.

Not long after came Voldemort. It is possible that the teenage Voldemort—Tom Riddle—had either met with or worked for Grindelwald, this is possibly how he grew to be so similar. Voldemort and his followers, known as Death Eaters, were the worst the Magical World had ever seen. Beginning in the 1970’s and ending in 1997 when 17 year old Harry Potter defeated him once and for all. But we all know that tale and happened to Potter next.

Who will save us from this new terror that has developed? There is no more Dumbledore and no more Harry Potter.

It is still unknown what this new evil’s name is and how many followers he or she has. All we know is from the emergency that was reported last week when the Ministry’s Aurors were sent to a location in southern England that is still unknown to the Prophet.
